Southwest Zheng’an Semi-Automatic Laboratory and Online Free Calcium and Online Carbon-Sulfur Analyzers

Introduction: The Zheng’an Southwest Project is equipped with a semi-automatic laboratory system supplied by ITECA, as well as automated online free calcium analyzers and automated online carbon–sulfur analyzers. The laboratory supports automated sampling of raw meal at the mill outlet, raw meal fed into the kiln, hot raw meal, coal powder, clinker, and cement at the mill outlet; the intermediate conveying process is performed manually. The lab is outfitted with automated equipment such as an automatic mill, a tablet press, and a fluorescence spectrometer, enabling fully automated sample preparation and analysis. Since its commissioning in 2022, the laboratory has demonstrated excellent operational performance. The online free calcium analyzer and the carbon–sulfur analyzer provide rapid measurements of free calcium in clinker and of gypsum and blended-material contents in cement, thereby providing data support for production-process control.
