Southwest Zheng’an Semi-Automatic Laboratory and Online Free Calcium and Online Carbon–Sulfur Analyzers

Introduction: The Southwest Zheng’an project is equipped with a semi‑automated ITECA laboratory, as well as automated online free calcium analyzers and automated online carbon–sulfur analyzers. The laboratory features automated sampling for raw meal at the mill outlet, raw meal entering the kiln, hot raw meal, coal powder, clinker, and cement at the mill outlet; intermediate material transport is performed manually. Inside, the facility houses automated mills, tablet presses, fluorescence spectrometers, and other equipment, enabling fully automated sample preparation and analysis. Since its commissioning in 2022, the laboratory has demonstrated excellent operational performance. The online free calcium analyzer and the carbon–sulfur analyzer can rapidly determine the free calcium content in clinker and the gypsum and blended material contents in cement, providing data support for production process control.
